The U.S. Courthouse in Jacksonville opened in 2002. It is a 14 story metal and glass structure with a 4 story rotunda that serves as the entrance from the plaza level. The U.S. Courthouse has the distinction of being the second Courthouse designed to meet new federal safety specifications.
