The North Dade Justice Center was built in 1988 and was designed to fit with two features of its environment: the mangrove preserve to the east and U.S. 1 to the west. Interesting features of the courthouse include natural light windows in the courtrooms, an environment sculpture, and a blending of varying architectural styles.
