The historic Lee County Courthouse was built in 1915 for $100,000. The courthouse is in Classical Revival style, with a large Banyan tree on the landscaped grounds. A cross shaped stone commemorating Lee County veterans was placed near the courthouse by the late Park T. Pigott, Sr., Lee County’s long time Parks and Recreation Director. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
