The DeSoto County Courthouse was built in 1913 in a Classical Greek style, for a cost of almost $90,000. The beautiful courthouse, located in downtown Arcadia on a city square, underwent a seven year long restoration process. State of the art security, lighting, and windows have been added without changing the appearance of the original structure.
