The Citrus County Courthouse was built in 1977 and is located near the 1912 courthouse. The courthouse is a three story red brick building with a glass front. There is a tile relief of the Great Seal of Florida located in the lobby and a bicentennial time capsule to be opened in 2076, located near the front entrance.
