The 1939 United States Courthouse was built of limestone in a Mediterranean style. It has a barrel tile roof, pink marble stairs, and beautifully ornate iron trim with brass accents. Although the current U.S Courthouse is located nearby, the grandeur of the 1939 courthouse is unsurpassed. Both buildings are located in the center of the Pensacola historic district.
