The United States Courthouse was built as a WPA project in 1936. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is located in Tallahassee’s historic district. The courthouse reflects a Neo-classical design and is accentuated with a copper weather vane on its cupola. A mural depicting Florida’s history is located in the lobby.
